I am a man in my mid 50’s. A physician by training, I work in corporate America. By all accounts, I am a successful person but I feel an emptiness that has become more pronounced as I get older as I am sure that a lot of us do. At the same time, I feel fortunate and joyful in a million different ways. As an ever-evolving being, I believe that we all want to be a better version of ourselves, less selfish and more enlightened which inevitably leads to being calm and peaceful. I do not have the answers but believe that if we engage in a dialogue, it will help us all. There is a lot to talk about and share in each one of our lives. Our shared experiences enrich us all. I want to engage, share and learn. I want our collective to be lighter and not a burden, more enlightened in a true sense, and the breaths to come easy and welcomed. A lighter breath…

Yes… I think you are so right… people who reach their goal- they get name, fame, success, and money.. it seems like what else does a person need more than this? but still some kind of emptiness is there. Like their inner peace and happiness is missing.. According to me it’s starts within us.. sometimes you find peace in chirping birds, a smiling dog, or if you bring a smile on a sad face..
