Hamilton the play is a beautiful conflation of historical figures, hip hop, musical, emotions, pageantry and drama. It all comes together. The fusion of so many art forms and historical figures, make it appeal to all the senses and generations. Given the reality of the pandemic , that we are living in, all our activities are restricted and the rhythm of life has changed for all of us. My days were all becoming the same and life, monotonous. On October 11th, as I wrote on my blog, I embarked on a personal renaissance. The commitment to a vigorous life is evolving. Watching Hamilton was an eye opener. My days need to be a conflation of a lot of activities, than has been the case, till now. I have always liked to focus on one or two things a day and denied myself the pleasure of pluralism and filled it with the dullness of a tunneled vision. Why can I not cook, read, write, exercise, work, study something new, meet a friend, indulge in a hobby, watch TV, garden outside, go for a walk everyday of my life and more? I had compartmentalized my life, believing it to be efficient. The singularity of the days was sapping my energy. Now that my days are conflated with the pluralism of activities, I do not feel tired anymore and the zeal to live vigorously everyday has multiplied and sleep comes fast and easy. Life feels flowing forward rather than the stagnation of a lake. The diversity of the day is invigorating indeed. Everyday is a good day……..
