We have designed a few days in a year, that we celebrate. It may vary between cultures and countries, but the specific days for the festivities are set aside. Today is Thanksgiving day. Families across the country, will get together, around the dinner table. The cohesiveness of the families will be celebrated and tested. We all celebrate our birthday’s, new years and religious holidays. We celebrate our wedding’s. Then we celebrate the anniversaries of the important landmarks in our lives. What do we do with the rest of our days? Are the majority of the days in our lives not important and we have nothing to celebrate? Does designating special days make other days less special? I would think that if we have the mindset that every day needs to be celebrated, our life would be a bash. Why have we decided that most of our lives have no reason for celebration. Isn’t every sunrise a celebration? And so is sunset. So is walking, conversing and eating. Is it not? The first step that a child takes is celebrated. What about the rest? Celebrations are an expression of expressing appreciation and reverence. Let’s celebrate today and everyday…….
